Krambo.org
We invest in local organizations in the regions we serve: Wisconsin, Arizona, California, Nevada, Alaska and Hong Kong.

We don’t see ourselves as just a charity, but as a catalyst for positivity and a growth mindset that creates scalable value for our stakeholders.
While we reserve our future options, we’re neither a 501c-3, a DAF, nor a Foundation. We work with local entrepreneurs to create social good without traditional philanthropic constraints investing in their work creating values for the communities we serve.
Our Mission
We invest philanthropically to create amazing value for our stakeholders.
Our Vision
It always takes more work than assumptions about identity to create positivity. Our work is to empower catalytic people making things better.
Our Story
How We Got Started
Krambo Food Stores emerged out of the Great Depression as a place of healthy community in Wisconsin started by founders offering amazing deals to communities across the state, ultimately exiting to Kroger in 1955.
Where We Are Now
Subsequent generations built their own business in a variety of industries, and supported innovators through both venture capital and philanthropically. We use this vehicle to invest in big ideas.
